It’s the ultimate indulgence for anyone who loves a flavor-packed meal! Perfect for a weekend cookout or an indulgent dinner. Ready in less than 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 strips of bacon, cooked and crispy
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Butter for toasting buns
  • Fresh basil (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Burger Patties: Season ground beef with salt and pepper, form into 4 patties, and cook on a grill or stovetop until desired doneness (about 4-5 minutes per side).
  • Make the Lasagna Filling: In a small bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and egg until smooth.
  • Layer the Lasagna on Burgers: Top each cooked burger patty with marinara sauce and a generous spoonful of the cheese mixture. Let it melt slightly.
  • Cook the Bacon: Fry bacon strips until crispy, then set on paper towels to drain excess grease.
  • Assemble the Burger: Toast burger buns with butter until golden. Place lasagna-topped patty on the bottom bun, add two bacon strips, and cover with the top bun.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh basil and an extra spoonful of marinara sauce, if desired.

Notes

  • For extra meltiness, broil the burgers for 1-2 minutes after adding the cheese mixture.
  • Swap ground beef for turkey or a plant-based patty for a lighter version.
  • Use spicy marinara for a little heat!
