Tender chicken breasts coated in creamy Caesar dressing and Parmesan cheese create the perfect weeknight dinner.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1½ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup Caesar salad dressing (click for homemade recipe)
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional)

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and spray an 8×11½-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
  2. Even out the chicken breasts’ thickness by pounding them to an even ¾-1-inch thickness using a meat pounder, if needed.
  3. Sprinkle both sides of the breasts with 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and freshly ground black pepper, then place them in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together Caesar dressing and sour cream. Pour the mixture over each chicken breast and sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven at 375°F for 30 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part of one of the middle breasts reads 150°F.
  6. Turn the oven to broil and broil the chicken for an additional 2-4 minutes until golden brown. Be cautious not to burn it; keep a close eye on it. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
  7. Remove from the oven, loosely cover with foil, and let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes or Tips:

  • Avoid salting the chicken to maintain its perfect balance of flavors.
  • If the sauce appears to curdle, mix 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour into the dressing/sour cream mixture before adding it to the chicken.
