Description
A revitalizing morning drink with lemon, ginger, honey, and warm water to support fat-burning and overall wellness.
Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water (not boiling)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (about half a lemon)
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (or ½ teaspoon ginger powder)
- 1 teaspoon raw honey (preferably organic)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar with “mother”
- Optional: A pinch of pink Himalayan salt
- Optional: ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Warm the water so it is warm but not boiling, to preserve the honey’s enzymes.
- Add the lemon juice, grated ginger, honey, and optionally apple cider vinegar, pink salt, and cinnamon.
- Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved.
- Drink slowly on an empty stomach, ideally first thing in the morning.
- You can also prepare it the night before and drink it in the morning.
