- 1 ½ cups oats
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 3 large apples, peeled and diced
- ½ cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and baking soda. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
- Press half the mixture into the prepared pan to form the crust.
- Layer diced apples on top of the crust and drizzle caramel sauce evenly over the apples.
- Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the apples.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before cutting into bars.

- For a tangier flavor, use Granny Smith apples.
