Description

Dive into the delightfully creamy world of homemade chocolate peanut butter! This recipe blends the rich, deep flavors of chocolate with the nutty, satisfying taste of peanut butter. It’s an easy-to-make treat that promises to elevate your breakfast spreads, desserts, and even your midnight snacks!

Ingredients

Scale

16 oz honey roasted peanuts or lightly-salted peanuts

1 tbsp vanilla extract

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz)

Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

In a food processor, process the peanuts until they are completely smooth and creamy, about 4-5 minutes.

Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler, stirring until smooth.

Combine the creamy peanut butter, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in the food processor and blend until silky.

Taste and adjust the flavor as needed. Transfer to a jar and allow to set to desired consistency.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, add some chopped peanuts after blending.

If the mixture is too thick, a tablespoon of peanut or coconut oil can be added for a smoother texture.

Store in an airtight container. Refrigerate to prolong shelf life.
