This Cinnamon Apple Bread is a moist, flavorful loaf packed with chunks of fresh apples and a cinnamon-sugar swirl. Perfect for fall, this easy-to-make bread fills your home with the comforting aroma of apples and spices, making it an ideal treat for breakfast, snacking, or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups apple, peeled and chopped (about 2 medium apples)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and 1 cup of sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chopped apples.
  • In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, then sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Add the remaining batter and top with the remaining cinnamon sugar.
  • Use a knife to gently swirl the cinnamon sugar into the batter.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
