Creamy cheesecake swirls, chunks of edible cookie dough, and chocolate chips baked into custardy French toast—this over-the-top breakfast casserole tastes like dessert for breakfast!
Ingredients

1 (12 oz) loaf French bread, cut into 1″ cubes (stale works best!)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup edible cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)

¼ cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 large eggs
-
1½ cups milk (whole or 2%)

½ cup chocolate chips

Maple syrup or whipped cream for serving
(Optional: ½ tsp cinnamon in the custard for warmth)
Instructions
1. Prep the Bread & Cheesecake Swirl

Grease a 9×13″ baking dish. Spread bread cubes evenly in the dish.

In a bowl, beat cream cheese, cookie dough, sugar, and vanilla until smooth (~2 mins).

Dollop spoonfuls of the mixture over the bread, then swirl gently with a knife.
2. Make the Custard

Whisk eggs and milk (and cinnamon, if using) in a bowl.

Pour evenly over the bread, pressing down to soak all pieces.

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
3. Chill (Optional but Recommended)

Cover and refrigerate overnight (or at least 30 mins for better absorption).
4. Bake

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes until golden and set in the center.
5. Serve

Let cool 5 minutes, then drizzle with maple syrup or top with whipped cream.
