- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup milk
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp cotton candy flavoring (or more for extra flavor)
- A few drops of pink & blue food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a mini muffin tin with liners.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, vanilla extract, and cotton candy flavoring until smooth.
- Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Divide batter into two bowls. Tint one batch pink and the other blue.
- Spoon a little of each colored batter into the mini muffin cups, swirling lightly with a toothpick.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool, then enjoy! Optional: Top with whipped frosting and cotton candy pieces for extra magic!
Notes
- For stronger flavor, add a little extra cotton candy flavoring.
- No mini muffin tin? Use a regular one and bake for 15-18 minutes instead.
- For extra fun, add pastel sprinkles or edible glitter!
