- 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 egg (optional, for extra binding)
- 4 burger buns
- Butter for toasting buns
Optional Toppings:

Instructions
- Prepare the Burger Mixture:
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, ranch seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands—overmixing can make the burgers tough. - Shape the Patties:
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties about ½ inch thick. Press a small dent in the center of each patty with your thumb—this helps them cook evenly. - Cook the Burgers:
- Grill: Preheat to medium-high heat (375-400°F) and cook burgers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Stovetop: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Oven: Preheat to 375°F, place patties on a foil-lined baking sheet, and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Toast the Buns:
Spread butter on the inside of each bun and toast on the grill or in a pan until golden brown. - Assemble & Serve:
Place the cooked patties on the toasted buns and add your favorite toppings. Enjoy immediately!
Notes
- For extra juiciness, use ground beef with at least 20% fat.
- Want more spice? Add a pinch of cayenne or diced jalapeños to the mixture.
- Make it ahead: Shape the patties and store them in the fridge for up to 24 hours before cooking.
- Freezer-friendly: Wrap uncooked patties individually and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight before cooking.
