Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 4 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices crispy cooked bacon
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- Lettuce, tomato, and pickles (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Butter (for toasting buns)
Instructions
- Prepare the Crack Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, chopped green onions, and 1 tablespoon of ranch seasoning. Set aside.
- Season the Ground Beef: In a large bowl, combine ground beef with the remaining ranch seasoning. Season with salt and pepper. Gently mix and form into 4 patties.
- Cook the Patties: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until they reach your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- Toast the Buns: While the patties cook, butter the insides of the burger buns and toast them in a skillet or on the grill until golden brown.
- Assemble the Burgers: Spread the crack sauce on the toasted buns. Place the cheesy patty on the bottom bun, top with crispy bacon, and add optional toppings like lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Close with the top bun.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve hot with your favorite sides, such as fries, chips, or a salad.
Notes
- Cheese: Feel free to use your favorite cheese, like Swiss or pepper jack, for extra flavor.
- Patty Size: For slider-sized burgers, divide the beef mixture into smaller patties and reduce the cooking time slightly.
- Storage: Leftover patties can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in a skillet or microwave until warmed through.
