- 1 kg (2.2 lbs) stew meat (beef cut into cubes)
- 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10 oz)
- 1 can mushrooms, drained (7 oz)
- 2 cups beef broth (500 ml)
- 300 g (10 oz) egg noodles (to be cooked separately)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients
- Cut the beef into equal-sized cubes.
- Drain the mushrooms and set aside.
- Assemble in the Crockpot
- Add the beef cubes to the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix and brown gravy mix over the beef.
- Add the cream of mushroom soup and drained mushrooms.
- Pour in the beef broth.
- Cook
- Cover and set the crockpot to low. Cook for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender. Stir occasionally for even cooking.
- Prepare the Noodles
- About 15 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions.
- Serve
- Serve the tender beef tips and gravy over the cooked egg noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Enjoy hot!
Notes
- If the gravy is too thick, you can add more beef broth towards the end of cooking.
- For a gluten-free version, substitute the gravy mix, soup, and noodles with gluten-free alternatives.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months (without noodles).
