Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups diced cooked ham
  • 4 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Layer Ingredients: In the crockpot, layer half of the diced ham on the bottom, followed by half of the potatoes and chopped onion. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and half the cheese. Repeat the layers with the remaining ham, potatoes, onion, and cheese.
  • Mix the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and a little more salt and pepper. Pour this mixture evenly over the ingredients in the crockpot.

  • Serve: Stir gently to combine, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve warm.
