- Fresh thyme, for garnish
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out puff pastry or place flatbread onto a baking sheet.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft and caramelized (about 15 minutes).
- Arrange Brie slices evenly across the flatbread. Top with caramelized onions and chopped figs. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar and honey. Drizzle the mixture over the flatbread.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the Brie has melted.
- Garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
