Description

This Ghastly Candy Bark is a quick and easy last-minute Halloween treat! With layers of rich dark and creamy white chocolate topped with ghostly decorations, it’s the perfect festive snack for any spooky occasion. Customize it with your favorite sprinkles or candies to make it your own!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 bars of dark chocolate
  • 3 bars of white chocolate
  • Assorted sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  • Melt 3 bars of dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl using 10-second intervals, stirring between each heating.
  • Line an 8” x 8” baking dish with plastic wrap and spread the melted dark chocolate evenly across the surface. If you’d like, sprinkle on some candy or cookie pieces for extra texture. Refrigerate until firm.
  • In a second microwave-safe bowl, melt 2 bars of white chocolate. Spread it over the hardened dark chocolate layer and refrigerate again until solid.
  • Melt the remaining 3 bars of dark chocolate and 1 bar of white chocolate in separate bowls. Spoon a small amount of dark chocolate into a piping bag. Spread the remaining dark chocolate over the bark.
  • Spoon the melted white chocolate into another piping bag and pipe small circles onto the warm dark chocolate to form ghosts. Use a toothpick to drag one end of the circles into a ghost tail.
  • Use the dark chocolate in the piping bag to add eyes and mouths to the ghosts. Add festive sprinkles if desired, then refrigerate until fully hardened.
  • Once set, slice or break the candy bark into pieces and enjoy!

Notes

  • Customize this recipe with your favorite toppings like crushed cookies, candy pieces, or nuts.
  • Work quickly when creating the ghosts to ensure the chocolate is still warm for easy piping.
