- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin purée and applesauce until fully combined.
- Gradually add the whole wheat flour and cinnamon, stirring until a dough forms. If too sticky, add more flour until workable.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thick and cut out with a Jack-O’-Lantern-shaped cookie cutter.
- Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet. Optionally, use a knife to add Jack-O’-Lantern faces.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cookies are firm and lightly golden.
- Cool completely before serving to your dog.
