- 1 cup pumpkin purée (unsweetened)
- 1/2 cup carrot purée (cooked and blended)
- 2 tablespoons gelatin powder (unflavored)
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the pumpkin purée, carrot purée, and water. Heat over low to medium heat, stirring until well combined and warm.
- Gradually whisk in the gelatin powder, stirring constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved (about 2-3 minutes).
- Remove from heat and pour the mixture into ghost-shaped silicone molds.
- Refrigerate the molds for 1-2 hours, or until the chews are set and firm.
- Pop the chews out of the molds and serve them to your dog.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- Substitute carrot purée with sweet potato if desired.
- Adding a teaspoon of coconut oil can provide extra healthy fats.
