Ingredients

1 (16.5 oz) roll chocolate chip cookie dough (or sugar cookie dough for a lighter base)

½ tsp peppermint extract (or 1 tsp vanilla if preferred)

1 cup crushed candy canes (plus extra for garnish)

½ cup chocolate chips, melted (for drizzle)

½ cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)
Instructions
1. Shape the “Log”

Roll out cookie dough into a 10×8-inch rectangle on parchment paper.

Spread whipped cream evenly over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border.
2. Make the Cheesecake Filling

Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peppermint extract until smooth.

Fold in ½ cup crushed candy canes.
3. Assemble

Spread the cheesecake mixture over the whipped cream layer.

Carefully roll the dough into a log (use the parchment to help).
