A festive, no-bake dessert that combines rich chocolate cookie dough, creamy peppermint cheesecake, and crunchy candy canes—perfect for Christmas parties or cozy winter nights!

 


Ingredients

  • 1 (16.5 oz) roll chocolate chip cookie dough (or sugar cookie dough for a lighter base)

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

  • ½ tsp peppermint extract (or 1 tsp vanilla if preferred)

  • 1 cup crushed candy canes (plus extra for garnish)

  • ½ cup chocolate chips, melted (for drizzle)

  • ½ cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)


Instructions

1. Shape the “Log”

  1. Roll out cookie dough into a 10×8-inch rectangle on parchment paper.

  2. Spread whipped cream evenly over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border.

2. Make the Cheesecake Filling

  1. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peppermint extract until smooth.

  2. Fold in ½ cup crushed candy canes.

3. Assemble

  1. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the whipped cream layer.

  2. Carefully roll the dough into a log (use the parchment to help).

  3. Wrap tightly in plastic and refrigerate 2+ hours (or freeze 30 mins for faster setting).

4. Decorate

  1. Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with remaining candy canes.

  2. Add whipped cream “knots” on top to mimic a real Yule log.
