- Gently fold in vanilla extract.
- Divide meringue into bowls and add food coloring to each, folding gently to combine.
- Pipe tree shapes onto the prepared baking sheets using a piping bag with a star tip.
- Bake for 1 ½ to 2 hours, then cool in the oven with the door ajar for another hour.
- Decorate with sprinkles or edible glitter before serving.
