Description

These Butterfinger Balls are a delightful blend of creamy peanut butter, crunchy Butterfinger candy bars, and smooth semi-sweet chocolate. Perfect for any occasion, these treats are easy to make and absolutely irresistible!

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars (about 8 regular-size bars)

12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips or melting chocolate

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Stir in the crushed Butterfinger candy bars until evenly distributed in the mixture.

Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper or parchment paper.

Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour until firm.

Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.

Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.

Place the chocolate-covered balls back on the lined baking sheet. Optional: sprinkle with additional crushed Butterfinger candy while the chocolate is still wet.

Refrigerate again until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes.

Serve and enjoy these irresistible Butterfinger Balls as a delightful treat!

Notes

Ensure the peanut butter mixture is well combined and smooth for easy shaping.

Use a fork or dipping tool for an even chocolate coating and to let excess chocolate drip off.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months.
