Ingredients

¼ cup passion fruit juice (from about 46 passion fruits)

16 oz heavy cream

¾ cup granulated sugar

2 tablespoons lime juice

Optional garnishes: coconut yogurt, whipped cream, sweetened passion fruit


Instructions

Extract juice from the passion fruits by halving them and pressing the seeds and pulp through a sieve. Discard the seeds.

In a saucepan, combine heavy cream and sugar and simmer over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.

Allow to simmer for 3 minutes, then remove from heat.

Stir in the passion fruit juice and lime juice until well combined.

Pour the mixture into chilled serving dishes and let cool at room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.

Garnish with coconut yogurt, whipped cream, or sweetened passion fruit before serving.
