Description

These Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks are everything you crave in a snack or appetizer—melty cheese, tender beef, and savory seasonings all wrapped in golden, garlicky bread. Serve with marinara or queso dip for the ultimate indulgence. Perfect for game nights, parties, or just a cheesy treat at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced beef or steak tips (cooked)
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Marinara or cheese sauce (queso), for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangular shape, about ¼ inch thick.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and minced garlic. Brush this mixture evenly over the entire surface of the dough.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and half of the shredded provolone cheese over the dough.
  • Spread the thinly sliced beef evenly across the dough. Sprinkle garlic powder, oregano, and a pinch of salt over the beef.
  • Fold the dough in half, pressing lightly to seal. Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the dough into strips, about 1 inch wide.
  • Twist each strip and place it on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each breadstick.
  • Sprinkle the remaining shredded provolone cheese and optional chili powder over the breadsticks.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Serve warm with marinara sauce or queso dip.

Notes

  • Use cold pizza dough for easier handling and shaping.
  • Substitute provolone with mozzarella or Monterey Jack for a different flavor profile.
  • Leftover roast beef, deli-sliced beef, or steak strips work perfectly for this recipe.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, and reheat in the oven for crispy results.
