- 2 cups milk

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cut the loaf of bread into cubes and place them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture over the bread cubes, pressing gently to ensure all pieces are soaked.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden on top.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup.
