Crunchy, salty pretzels dipped in velvety semi-sweet and white chocolate, spiced with cozy pumpkin spice. These fun-to-make pretzels are perfect for Halloween or any fall gathering. Kids will love helping with the dipping, drizzling, and decorating! Ready in just 15 minutes and full of festive flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzels (divided)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or candy coating)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (or candy coating)
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice (divided)
  • Orange food coloring (optional, for extra festive flair)

Instructions

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon oil. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring until smooth. Add ½ teaspoon pumpkin spice and mix well. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, melt white chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon oil, stirring until smooth. Add the remaining ½ teaspoon pumpkin spice and a few drops of orange food coloring. Mix well.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Dip half the pretzels into the semi-sweet chocolate using a fork. Tap off the excess and place on the prepared sheet.
  • Repeat with the remaining pretzels and white chocolate.
  • Drizzle the semi-sweet chocolate over the white chocolate-covered pretzels and vice versa for a fun look!
  • Let the pretzels sit until the chocolate sets, or place in the fridge or freezer to speed up the process.

Notes

  • Reheat the chocolate in the microwave if it starts to harden while you work.
  • For more color, try adding purple or green food coloring to the white chocolate, or sprinkle Halloween-themed candies on top!
