Description

The Rainbow Paradise Cocktail is a stunningly layered drink that brings the vibrant colors and tropical flavors of a vacation right to your glass. Perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a special treat, this cocktail is as delicious as it is beautiful.

Ingredients

Scale

4 ounces pineapple juice

2 ounces Malibu Coconut Rum

1 ounce grenadine

1 ounce blue curaçao

1 ounce water

Crushed ice

Instructions

Prepare the Base Layer: Pour the grenadine into a hurricane glass. The deep red hue will form the beautiful base layer of our cocktail.

Add the Ice: Fill the glass with crushed ice or small ice cubes. This not only chills the drink but also helps create distinct layers.

Mix Pineapple Juice and Rum: In a separate cup or shot glass, mix together the pineapple juice and Malibu Coconut Rum. This sweet, tropical blend is what dreams are made of!

Layer the Pineapple Mixture: Slowly pour the pineapple juice and coconut rum mixture into the hurricane glass. Take your time to ensure the yellow layer sits perfectly atop the red grenadine.

Prepare the Blue Curaçao Mix: In another cup, mix the water and blue curaçao. This striking blue liquid will be the final, eye-catching layer.

Float the Blue Curaçao: Place a spoon against the side of the glass and slowly pour the blue curaçao mixture over it. This technique helps the blue layer float delicately on top of the yellow, creating a stunning gradient effect.

Garnish and Serve: Finish off your masterpiece with a slice of lemon or orange on the rim of the glass. Enjoy the tropical paradise you’ve just created!

Notes

Slow Pouring: The key to perfect layers is in the slow pour. Use a spoon and pour gently to avoid mixing the colors.

Crushed Ice: Crushed ice works best as it helps in maintaining the separation of layers.
