Description

Hello, dear readers! First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for being a part of this culinary journey. Your support and enthusiasm make sharing these recipes such a joy. Today, I have a treat that will make your taste buds dance with delight – Reese’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars! These bars are a dream come true for any peanut butter and chocolate lover. Trust me, they are anything but boring!!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Peanut Butter Layer:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

For the Chocolate Layer:

  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Peanut Butter Layer

  1. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and creamy peanut butter.
  2. Mix until well blended. The mixture should be thick and crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into a 9×13 inch baking dish. Use the back of a spoon or a spatula to smooth it out.

Step 2: Prepare the Chocolate Layer

  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and ¼ cup of creamy peanut butter.
  2. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate and peanut butter are fully melted and smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.

Step 3: Chill and Serve

  1. Refrigerate the bars for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is firm.
  2. Once set, cut into squares and serve. Enjoy the delicious combination of creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate!

Notes

  • Chilling Time: Make sure to give the bars enough time to set in the refrigerator. This helps the layers to firm up nicely.
