Description

This rustic Cranberry, Caramelized Onion, and Feta Flatbread is a perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors! Topped with caramelized onions, juicy cranberries, creamy feta cheese, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze, it’s a quick and easy recipe that’s perfect for appetizers, snacks, or light meals.

Ingredients

  • 1 store-bought flatbread or naan
  • 1/2 cup fresh or dried cranberries
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add thinly sliced onions and sauté, stirring occasionally, for 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Stir in brown sugar during the last 2 minutes.
  3. Place the flatbread on the prepared baking sheet. Spread caramelized onions evenly across the surface.
  4. Top with cranberries, crumbled feta cheese, and fresh thyme leaves. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges of the flatbread are crispy and the toppings are heated through.
  6. Slice into portions and serve warm. Enjoy!

  • Reheating: Warm in a 350°F oven for 5-10 minutes for best results.
