Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 packs spicy Korean ramen (such as Samyang or Shin Ramyun)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 soft-boiled eggs (optional but recommended!)
- Green onions & sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
-
Marinate the Beef:
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, and sesame oil. Toss the thinly sliced beef in the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes to soak up the flavors. -
Grill the Beef:
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated beef for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized and tender. Set aside. -
Cook the Ramen:
Boil the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and reserve ½ cup of the broth. -
Make the Creamy Sauce:
In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and stir in gochujang. Cook for 1 minute to bring out its deep, smoky spice. Add heavy cream and the reserved broth, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Simmer for 2-3 minutes. -
Combine Everything:
Add the drained noodles to the sauce and toss until evenly coated. Plate the ramen and top with grilled beef, a soft-boiled egg, green onions, and sesame seeds. -
Serve & Enjoy!
Grab your chopsticks and dig into this fiery, creamy, umami-packed bowl of ramen!
Notes
- For extra heat, add chili oil or red pepper flakes.
- Make it dairy-free by swapping heavy cream for coconut milk.
- Try different proteins like chicken, pork, or tofu.
- Vegetarian? Swap the beef for mushrooms or crispy tofu and use a vegetarian ramen.
- Want a thicker sauce? Stir in ½ tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water.
