Spicy Korean Ramen with Grilled Beef & Creamy Sauce is a bold, flavor-packed dish that brings together fiery heat, tender marinated beef, and a silky, rich sauce. This fusion of spice and creaminess creates the ultimate comfort food, perfect for a cozy night in or a satisfying meal when you crave something indulgent. Quick, easy, and bursting with umami!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 packs spicy Korean ramen (such as Samyang or Shin Ramyun)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs (optional but recommended!)
  • Green onions & sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  • Marinate the Beef:
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, and sesame oil. Toss the thinly sliced beef in the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes to soak up the flavors.

  • Grill the Beef:
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated beef for 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized and tender. Set aside.

  • Cook the Ramen:
Boil the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and reserve ½ cup of the broth.

  • Make the Creamy Sauce:
In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and stir in gochujang. Cook for 1 minute to bring out its deep, smoky spice. Add heavy cream and the reserved broth, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  • Combine Everything:
Add the drained noodles to the sauce and toss until evenly coated. Plate the ramen and top with grilled beef, a soft-boiled egg, green onions, and sesame seeds.

  • Serve & Enjoy!
Grab your chopsticks and dig into this fiery, creamy, umami-packed bowl of ramen!

Notes

  • For extra heat, add chili oil or red pepper flakes.
  • Make it dairy-free by swapping heavy cream for coconut milk.
  • Try different proteins like chicken, pork, or tofu.
  • Vegetarian? Swap the beef for mushrooms or crispy tofu and use a vegetarian ramen.
  • Want a thicker sauce? Stir in ½ tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water.
