Description
This Strawberry Honey Butter is creamy, fruity, and slightly floral—an easy, homemade spread that instantly brightens toast, biscuits, pancakes, and more! With just four ingredients and a quick whip, you’ll have a beautiful, naturally sweet butter perfect for brunches, gifts, or anytime you want to elevate your breakfast.
Ingredients
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons honey
¼ cup fresh strawberries, mashed
½ teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
Allow butter to soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes until easily spreadable.
Mash the strawberries with a fork until juicy but not completely puréed.
In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, mashed strawberries, honey, and lemon zest.
Whip with a hand mixer until fluffy and well combined.
Taste and adjust the honey if you’d like it sweeter.
Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
For extra smooth texture, blend the strawberries before mixing for fewer fruit chunks.
You can substitute raspberries or blueberries for a fun variation!
Lemon zest adds brightness, but it’s optional if you prefer a purely sweet profile.
Best enjoyed within 7 days—store in the fridge in a sealed container.
To freeze, portion into an ice cube tray, freeze solid, then transfer to a zip-top bag for up to 3 months.
