Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef

1 (12 ounce) package jumbo pasta shells
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 cup water


Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the jumbo shells according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the Filling
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain any excess fat.

Stir in the taco seasoning mix, tomato sauce, and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until the mixture thickens slightly.

3. Stuff the Shells
Fill each cooked shell with the taco meat mixture using a spoon or small scoop.

4. Assemble & Bake
Place the stuffed shells in a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Pour any remaining sauce over the top of the shells.

Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese if desired.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

5. Serve & Enjoy
Serve the stuffed shells warm with your favorite taco toppings, like sour cream, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, or cilantro.
