1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup salted butter, at room temperature

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.

In a large bowl, cream the room temperature butter with both sugars using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.

Fold in the chopped caramel squares, pecans, and chocolate chips.
