Sticky BBQ Smoked Chicken Thighs

What you need:Bone-In Skin-On Chicken ThighsBBQ sauceApple Cider VinegarCoarse SaltCoarse Black Pepper
1Preheat Preheat the smoker to 225 degrees F.
2Add seasoningCoat both sides of the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Season generously.
3Smoke the chickenPlace the chicken slices on the smoker and let them smoke for 1 hour.
4Make the sauceMix the apple cider vinegar and bbq sauce until the sauce is very thin consistency for easy glazing.
5Adjust the temperatureAfter the first hour of smoking, raise the heat of your smoker to a higher temperature of 300 degrees F.
6Smoke the chicken moreLet the chicken smoke for another hour, or until every piece’s internal temperature hits 185 degrees.
7Coat the chicken thighsRemove the chicken from the smoker, then dunk them in the glaze so that each chicken piece is entirely covered in sauce.
8Place chicken backPlace the chicken slices back on the smoker for another half hour, or until the glaze is nice and tacky.
9ServeRemove the chicken from the smoker and allow them to rest for about ten minutes. Serve and enjoy.
