How to Make  Strawberry Krispie Treats

Melt butter in a large, heavy-bottomed pot over medium-low heat and stir in miniature marshmallows.

When marshmallows are almost melted, stir in strawberry preserves and vanilla until smooth.

Remove from heat and stir in cereal, crushed strawberries, and extra mini marshmallows.

Press into a square baking dish, let stand at room temp until set, and cut into squares. Dip or drizzle with chocolate, if desired.
