Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix together the chicken, bacon, mozzarella, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  • Roll Out Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a rectangle (about 12×16 inches).
  • Assemble the Stromboli: Spread the chicken-bacon-ranch mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Carefully roll the dough from one long side into a log and pinch the edges to seal.
  • Egg Wash: Place the stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Beat the egg and brush it over the top of the dough.
  • Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Serve: Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve with extra ranch for dipping.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: You can prepare the stromboli ahead of time and refrigerate it until ready to bake.
  • Substitutions: Use turkey instead of chicken or swap the mozzarella for cheddar or provolone.
  • Leftovers: Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for best results.
