Description

Dive in these Crab Stuffed Cheddar Bay Biscuits with Lemon Butter – a blend of rich, savory flavors encased in fluffy Cheddar Bay biscuits, topped with a zesty lemon butter glaze. Perfect as appetizers or sides, they add a gourmet touch to any meal!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Biscuits:

1 package Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix

1 tsp garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

For the Crab Filling:

1 lb cooked lump crab meat

¼ tsp paprika

½ tsp onion powder

½ cup mayonnaise (add more if needed)

1 tbsp mustard

½ sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

For the Lemon Butter Glaze:

Butter, melted (as needed)

1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

Prepare the Biscuit Dough:

Follow the instructions on the Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix package. Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning to enhance the flavor.

Make the Crab Filling:

Mix together the lump crab meat, paprika, onion powder, mayonnaise, mustard, crushed Ritz crackers, and Parmesan until well blended.

Assemble the Biscuits:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Divide the biscuit dough into small portions and press to form a base in muffin cups or on a baking sheet. Add a spoonful of crab filling on top of each, then cover with another layer of biscuit dough, sealing the edges.

Bake and Glaze:

Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. While baking, melt the butter and mix in the lemon juice. Once baked, brush the biscuits with the lemon butter glaze.

Notes

Make sure to drain the crab meat well to prevent the filling from being too moist.

If you prefer, you can make the dough from scratch using a basic biscuit recipe.
