Description

Indulge in the comforting flavors of Creamy Sipo Egg with Chicken Gizzard, a rich and hearty dish perfect for family gatherings or a cozy night in. This recipe combines tender chicken gizzards, creamy sauce, and vibrant vegetables for a meal that’s both satisfying and delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs cleaned chicken gizzard
  • 62 grams Knorr Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 12 quail eggs
  • 3/4 cup frozen green peas
  • 1 cubed carrot
  • 3/4 cup sweet corn kernels
  • 1 cubed jicama
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 7 oz all-purpose cream (optional)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  • Prepare the Ingredients: Clean the chicken gizzards and boil them for 30-40 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside. Hard-boil the quail eggs, peel, and set aside. Cube the carrot and jicama, chop the onion, and mince the garlic.
  • Sauté Aromatics: Heat cooking oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion, sauté until onions are translucent and garlic is fragrant.
  • Cook Gizzards and Vegetables: Add boiled chicken gizzards to the pan and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in cubed carrot, jicama, sweet corn, and green peas. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Add Creaminess: Dissolve Knorr Cream of Mushroom Soup in 1 cup of water and pour into the pan. Stir continuously. For a richer texture, add all-purpose cream. Stir well to combine.
  • Final Touches: Add hard-boiled quail eggs gently and simmer for an additional 10 minutes to meld flavors.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Serve hot and enjoy the creamy, savory goodness.

Notes

  • Tenderizing the Gizzards: Boiling the gizzards ensures they are tender and easy to eat.
  • Consistency: Adjust the sauce consistency by adding more water or broth if it becomes too thick.
  • Flavor Boost: Add soy sauce or pepper for an extra kick.
