- 2 large chicken breasts (cut into cutlets)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup heavy cream
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to low, pour in heavy cream, and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the chicken. Stir gently and let the sauce thicken.
- Top the chicken with shredded mozzarella, cover the skillet, and cook for 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot over pasta, rice, or veggies. Enjoy!
Notes
- Use boneless, skinless chicken thighs instead of breasts for extra juiciness.
- Add red pepper flakes for a little heat.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of chicken broth or more cream.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
