Decadent Chocolate and Strawberry Marshmallow Tart


1 pie crust, baked and cooled
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
2 cups mini marshmallows
Chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)

In a saucepan over low heat, combine the milk chocolate chips, heavy whipping cream, and butter. Stir continuously until the chocolate chips have fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the baked and cooled pie crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the chocolate layer.
Sprinkle the mini marshmallows over the strawberries, ensuring an even coverage.
Place the pie under a broiler or use a kitchen torch to lightly toast the marshmallows until they are golden brown.
Garnish with chocolate shavings if desired.
Allow the pie to set in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
